The Mountain Quarries Bridge is more commonly known in Auburn as No Hands Bridge. The bridge is located downstream from the confluence of the North and Middle Forks of the American River. The name No Hands Bridge is said to be from equestrian rider Ina Robinson deliberately dropping her reins while crossing the bridge on horseback. The bridge is now a California historical landmark.
